What's in this season?
We're still seeing a focus on animal prints. However, the prints are tending to be used in small doses as a highlight, rather than being a key focus. Florals are still in for autumn, although they are bolder and the tones are distinctly autumn in flavour, as opposed to the light, delicate florals of summer wear. 60s fashion throw backs are in, including bright colour blocking and tunic styled dresses and tops. Possibly the most noticeable trend change is that of the tailored overcoat to the flowing overcoat - in keeping with true 60s style.
Autumn trend tips:
- Keep your animal print accessories - use them as highlights
- Invest in a new flowing overcoat - enjoy your new freedom!
- Muted and bold florals are distinctive and provide for a feminine autumn look
- Long skirts are in - look for skirts that have flat waists for a slimming silhouette
- Pull out your mum's 60s wear - glam it up with some modern accessories
- Cuffs are still hot - show them off while the weather is still warm enough
